High-voltage DC power lines can efficiently transport electricity over thousands of kilometers and for long distances underwater better than ac. Dc power line would be more efficient at connecting renewable energy. It could bring places with no sun shine or wind solar and wind power. More renewable energy could better compete with fossil fuel. The thing that surprised me the most is renewable energy could replace fossil fuels. The possibility that big dc grids could power cities. There are no emerging technology from 2010 that is being used today

Reflection

Some of the skills that I have learned that I could use in the future are making blogs, Weebly, email basics, Quizlet, and Keytrain. I could use the Blog in english to make post's about books and some writting assignments. Weebly to make my own website for college or something else like a business. Email basics when I need to send formal emails to a techer or boss. Quizlet to help me study in other classes for tests. Keytrain to help me practice for act test to get a good grade so I can get into college. I don't think I would use Voki, Toondoo, or Digo outside of this class. Voki and Toondoo are making cartoons and I wouldn't need them for other classs or in the future. This class help me being more safe on the internet, how to protect myself and what to do if I get my indentity stolen. I nkow more about bullying and why people bully.
